John served in the U. S. Army Reserves later obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University and a Juris Doctorate Degree from St. Thomas University School of Law.
While in Law School, John worked at the Department of Homeland Security, I.C.E. as a certified legal intern. During his tenure at I.C.E., John worked on numerous immigration cases. John also worked at the Miami Dade County State Attorney’s office as a certified legal intern. While working at the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office, John represented the State of Florida in the prosecution of DUI, drug possession, and theft cases.
John focuses on Municipal Law, Criminal Law and Business Litigation with an emphasis partnership/contract disputes, John volunteers at numerous functions throughout the City of Miami and Miami-Dade County. John served as a Board Member for the City of Miami’s Homeland Defense/ Neighborhood Improvement Bond Oversight Board and is a member of the American Bar Association Military Pro Bono Project.
